Authoritarianism and the Left: the Future of Democracy In Southeast Europe

As a part of the project funded by the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Foundation, ISSHS organized the annual School for Politics and Critique 2022 “Authoritarianism and the Left: The Future of Democracy in Southeast Europe”. The project challenged the environmental emergencies and processes of reconceptualization of the notions of democracy, authoritarianism, socio-economic development in post-pandemic era. The keynote speakers were: Frank Engster, Joshua Clover, Katerina Kolozova, Amalia Louisson, and Zachary De Jong.
