Initiative for editorial freedom: New policies and data driven advocacy

Initiative for editorial freedom: New policies and data driven advocacy

The Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities in partnership with Association of Journalists of Macedonia (AJM) in the period 2017-2019 implemented the project “Initiative for editorial freedom: New policies and data driven advocacy.” The project was part of the program Civil Society Facility of IPA 2 (the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance), an instrument of the European Union for Macedonia. The main goal was to assess the effects of existing policies on editorial freedom arising from the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services and to initiate data driven advocacy based on new proposals and policy solutions that protect freedom of expression.
