DE-POLARIZE

The web campaign “De-polarize” is part of the project “Toward depolarization of public discourse in North Macedonia: Dialogue between the opposing political poles is the pre-requisite of surpassing the populist model of governance” supported by the од National Endowment for Democracy. The aim of this campaign is to contribute to the depolarization of society and to improve the culture of dialogue. By sending personal stories, the citizens shared their personal experience with the administration of the “captured state.” The campaign coincided with the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, so analyzes of discursive elements were prepared that caused polarization in the public through this period.
